The current upload is a new style I'm trying out. I tried to mimic Painter using Photoshop 7's custom brush set, and I am fairly satisified with the result. I made a smeary oil brush, and used the smudge tool, to smooth as needed.
The thing about technique is, I can be very fast with it, this one was completed in 1-1.5 hours. Still not fast enough for me just yet.

They are but small steps to the greater heights that I apsire to & wish to attain. My interest in painting and creating art in general is but a recent development.
